Seabeck History
Seabeck has a fascinating history. I'm in the process of re-reading "Seabeck Tide's Out, Table's Set" by Fredi Perry. This is a must have book if you live in Seabeck.

When we first moved here 10 years ago we had to special order it. We finally tracked down a second hand copy that was owned by Dena Roberts from Bellevue, WA

Please, if you have any history of Seabeck please post it here. As you drive up and down our roads and look at the names in front of some of the houses here, you will see family names dating back to the beginnings of Seabeck.

I'll post what I pull from Fredi Perry's book:
Add Seabeck History

Schools of Seabeck

1859 - First school started with the arrival of children
1878 - 2 room school house built to replace the first
1916 - New school built to replace the old, Crosby and Holly also needed schools so borrowed Seabeck's plans and built identical buildings.
1956 - The fourth school house was built to replace the one built in 1916. Unfortunately this structure burned down 5 months after it was built.
1958 - New school opened with concrete floors and a fire resistant material was used on the walls.
